The Blachère Group

Our history

Founded in 1985 by Bernard Blachère and located in the heart of Provence, the Blachère company is the fruit of a family passion, with the wish of sharing their expertise about trade and their passion for good quality products.

The company first launched the fruit and vegetables retail distribution brand Provenc’Halles with the desire to recreate the friendly atmosphere of a traditional market and focus on quality, freshness and fair prices. In 2004 the Group completed its offer with the opening of the first traditional Marie Blachère bakery.

The brand synonymous with authenticity and excellence, radiates throughout France through its network of more than 660 bakeries and 200 fruits and vegetables stores, and is even exported abroad to New York, Portugal, Belgium and Luxembourg.
